I do live in LALAland aka Hollywood and everyone here wants to be a star. I meet Writers, Directors, Producers, Actresses, Actors and the combination of all of the above on a daily basis. I hear about so many movies and never really know what is good or bad until I actually see the film. With the advent of social media influencers holding the key to introducing audiences to exciting and great new brands I am happy to introduce you to The Movie Network.
The Movie Network is not your average Fandago – type website. You can find local movie times in your area and buy tickets on the network but this site offers more than that. It is a site dedicated to movies and the people that make them possible. TMN works with Actors, Actresses, Producers, Directors, and Agents to try and ensure that their readers have access to the latest pictures, videos, and news updates about their favorite people and movies. They work directly with the people making the movies for you to enjoy. There is a section called the Green Room aimed for industry types where people in the biz can submit a press release and information on any movie. This is a great avenue for reaching a brand new audience.
I have “kinda” dumb and weird taste in movies. I love scary movies though it is a challenge to find a good one! I am going to have to take a deeper look into The Movie Network and find some good scary movies to watch.
But, for new movies out in theaters, I myself was curious about “Neighbors” with Seth Rogan and Zac Efron. The movie didn’t get the best reviews, but the reviewer did say that is wasn’t a complete waste of time. I love Seth Rogan and Zac Efron is easy on the eyes so I will probably give it a go! Plus, I like stupid movies so it is probably right up my alley. What is cool about The Movie Network is the ability to read reviews, watch trailers, and be able to see images from the film! Like these!
Another movie that looks cute and sadly I know a lot of women can relate is “The Other Woman” starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. It is about a 3 timing SOB. Leslie Mann is hilarious and I love her comedic timing. The reviews mentioned that Mann’s character was on point. I mean – I am always in the mood for a film like this! Aren’t you?
I am sure you are waiting for a little about Godzilla but I know very little about this movie or the movies before this movie. Not my thing, but if it is yours, there is plenty on The Movie Network about it and looks like the famous monster got pretty good reviews.
There is so much on The Movie Network that you can be sure to be entertained for a while! There are even giveaways and you know how much we love those here at MelanysGuydlines. Plus, YOU can even chime in and leave your own two cents on the site regarding any film under the Critic Club section! So, go for it! I know how many people on the Internet love to leave their comments. Remember to rate the film too so that it can (kinda) help me decide if I want to see it! And, if you are a festival type, that information is there as well.
