I don’t know about you but I move a lot! I mean I have moved quite a bit throughout my adult life and in college a total of 5 times in 4 and a half years. Yeah, dad was not too happy about that but the moving company loved me. There was a guy who looked like pop-eye and would literally throw 3 huge boxes on his back and walk backward up flights of stairs. It was awesome.
With all the moving I did I always needed a piece of art to go on a wall and I could never find the right piece. Now, that I am a little older I have other interests and have outgrown the half naked male photos that seemed so fitting for my digs in my twenties. Also, I have an office now and need different kinds of pieces to hang there as opposed to my home.
It is always so hard now to find art that I actually like. Some pieces are way too expensive, too pink, too big or too small. But, now I found a really cool site called UGallery and it is much easier to find exactly what I am looking for plus you will not see your pieces hanging in your friend’s houses. UGallery is a curated online art gallery that sells original, one-of-a-kind artworks. Founders Stephen Tanenbaum, Alex Farkas and Greg Rosborough came together in 2006 to create a revolutionary approach to online art sales that democratizes the entire art buying process. The Founders (fellow Wildcats might I add – GO CATS BEAR DOWN!) felt that high-end art should be available to everyone, not just those who can spend a years paycheck on a piece of artwork. UGallery connects artists with the customers to enable original art at affordable prices.
UGallery is easy. You can browse collections by price, medium, style, size, color, or artist and give any piece a weeklong test run in your home risk-free. How cool is that? Like testing a mattress or a boyfriend. Just kidding. But, not really because you can actually test a piece of art, in your home or office for an entire week without feeling the commitment-phobic feelings that sometimes accompany purchases online. The UGallery team and community of artists continues to grow as they pursue the original vision: create chemistry between people and art.
LOVE THIS! I am a huge music lover but am an artist at heart. Let me show you some cool pieces on the UGallery website and take a peak at the site and note how easy it is to use.
