I think I might have to eat my words and try this new dating app from Chris Harrison of “The Bachelor”. You know who he is right? You think he would know a little about dating after doing so many years on that show (which I don’t watch – but my mom loves it???) I obviously (unfortunately) know about dating and online dating nightmares which are not snarky or fun. But, lets weigh my options for trying this new dating app that was launched last week! Something has to work well eventually, right?
The new dating app – fittingly called “At First Sight” –is the first virtual dating service that uses video profiles to help people quickly determine if there is any chemistry. The brainchild of “The Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss and host Chris Harrison, the app combines video, chat and social features to make online dating as easy and natural as possible and add a feeling of safety and security since you’ll know exactly whom you can expect to meet. It’s easy to use, and you can create videos from home using your smartphone as it’s available for iOs, Android and iPad now.
Would using this app eliminate my previously scary experiences ?
Do you think I should try it? What would I say? Any suggestions?! I just want to give someone a Goddamn rose already. I am tired of frog – legs?? I prefer lobster anyway. Whatever?
Either way I will get:
1. Great fodder for the blog – I have so much of this already so I don’t NEED any more material
2. My prince (hoping for this option)
Check it out:
**Stay snarky my friends!**
I think you should try it. I’d like to see your video when you do it. Will you be positing it?
ok – not a problem. now, what to wear?
Hmmm… I dunno… one kinda online experience seems to me to be just like the next… VIRTUAL… no matter how you size it up… but hey – if you’re up for it – GO FOR IT!
Right? Well, maybe you and I need to do a podcast at the office?
