Part of my job as a social media Influencer and probably the best part as of late is using my voice to spread the word about amazing organizations and causes. Today, I am excited to share a very special event taking place at the gorgeous and newly re-opened Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, AZ this Saturday March 24 from 3:00PM-7:00PM. The event is called, Ballsfest West and supports the “Ballers” or children with life threatening cancer and their families.
“The term “BALLSFEST” was created by BALLSFEST Founder Frank DeBlasi, a testicular cancer survivor and keen supporter of children living with cancer. The term is a play on words, and one that reflects Frank’s positive spirit during his own battle. All proceeds raised at these events benefit a “baller” battling cancer and their families.”
I was introduced to this organization by my friend Terjenson of Propel Communications and we will both be there support the “Ballers” this Saturday.
Please join us.
Vanessa Ramirez, 12 News Today Traffic Reporter (NBC Phoenix), will be emcee for the inaugural, “BALLSFEST West”! Vanessa is a native of the 48th state, and is also the in-game host for Arizona Diamondbacks baseball games.
At this event, BALLSFEST will recognize up to 8 very special Ballers and we cannot wait for you to join us! There are a few ways to get involved, from varying sponsorships to tickets for purchase for you and your party and more. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these incredible young people and helping Ballsfest honor and celebrate on this special night!
The event has been described as: An EPIC fundraising party, lifting the spirits of kids + young adults fighting cancer, a.k.a. the “BALLERS”.
See you there to celebrate these very special children, young adults and their families. Get out and make a difference. Be good to one another.
March 24th will be here before you know it! Do you have your Ballsfest West ticket yet? Join us for a day of live music, lawn games, an open bar, delicious offerings from our custom burger bar, and ice cream sandwich station and most importantly honoring seven incredible young people and raising funds to fight pediatric cancer. The term “BALLSFEST” was created by BALLSFEST Founder Frank DeBlasi, a testicular cancer survivor and keen supporter of children living with cancer. The term is a play on words, and one that reflects Frank’s positive spirit during his own battle. All proceeds raised at these events benefit a “baller” battling cancer and their families.
In addition to annual events like BALLSFEST and BALLSFEST WEST, BALLSFEST offers partnerships, grants and contributions year-round from individuals, private foundations and others, for the purpose of supporting young children who are facing difficult challenges.
“As a survivor of testicular cancer, I can relate to what these kids, young adults and their families are going through, and I feel so blessed that I can seize the opportunity to provide love and incredible dream experiences for ‘ballers’ in our Arizona community,” states BALLSFEST Founder Frank DeBlasi. “After years of success raising money and awareness in my home state of New York at BALLSFEST, I am thrilled to now create and host BALLSFEST WEST to support families and kids battling cancer in my new home state of Arizona.”
BALLSFEST WEST will be at Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, AZ on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. This event will feature upscale barbeque, live music, and the not-to-be missed Baller Recognition Ceremony where dreams will come true for 8 local Ballers from our Arizona community.
