Congratulations! No pressure. Right?
Attending the University of Arizona was the best time of my life! This was one of the biggest reasons I decided to relocate to Arizona last year!
I am an Advisory Board member for the University of Arizona College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and enjoy teaching students about the future of social media and how they can turn social media influence into a profession. I am an active member on the Student Engagement and Marketing Committees for the Advisory Board as well as a recurring guest lecturer for eSociety students at the UofA. Did I mention that I am the youngest advisory board member?
The biggest reason why I decided to attend the UofA was because my sister graduated and wanted to follow in her footsteps. My family also created two scholarships in my sister’s name after her passing in 2010, honoring Brenna Berger’s memory as an At-Risk School Counselor in Los Angeles by enabling students who have faced significant obstacles in the pursuit of their college education. We are very proud of the scholarships and recipients and know my sister would be as well.
“Guests on Cats in the Corner Office are interviewed by Melinda Burke, UA Alumni Association president. Topics include the guest’s UA experience, stories from their career and advice for UA students and alumni. The interview is streamed live to YouTube in high definition, making it easy to join in and submit questions.”
Plus, it is March and time for the Pac 12 Tournament and March Madness so what better way to start off this basketball fan’s favorite time of year?
