Happy Saturday! I am so happy that it is the weekend because I NEED to catch up on rest. I felt like I was a walking zombie yesterday completely deprived of sleep because I had a crazy week! Vanity Fair hosted a Social Club for bloggers where we were able socialize and grab free stuff! People are starting to recognize the importance of social media influencers and I love every minute and freebie of it. Vanity Fair and the sponsors had the most amazing creation. Picture a vending machine stocked of full adult size products from Vanity Fair, Lancome, Clarasonic, Armani and more plus drinks made with Grey Goose (my fav). Now, take said vending machine and add Twitter handles and hashtags to tweet out as means to win your prize! It is like that ginormous claw machine where as a kid (I still do it – don’t judge) you could crab grab different stuffed animals. Well, not really the same but I loved this “freeb-er” tweeter machine just as much as the claw! Awesome idea and I took home plenty of loot. Now, what am I going to do with all this stuff? Upcoming giveaway?
Plus, you remember my Valentines Day round up? Well, the people at the Accessories Council sent me these bad boys for some extra good luck! I will take all the luck I can get and be sure to wear these in Vegas to cheer on my Arizona Wildcats to win the PAC 12 tournament in a few weeks. Plus, maybe if I wear these cute Catherine Canino “Horseshoe” Goldtone Button Stud Earrings I will have better luck at snagging a GOOD date.

Well, with all of my new gear I can pretty much give myself a makeover. Speaking of makeovers – WELCOME TO MY NEW AND IMPROVED Melanysguydlines 3.0 PLUS! What do you think? I love it! Hope you do too! My traffic was 3x’s as high as it has ever been yesterday. WOOHOO! Rock on and thank you!
Today, I plan to stay inside and go through my boxes and hide from the rain (no one goes out in LA when it rains). But, later I will need to pick which new accessories to wear to a southern rock show at the Whiskey A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip.
Hollywood is a buzz preparing to shelter your favorite celebrity from the rain so that they don’t ruin their expensive gowns for the Academy Awards. I heard Oscar does not care for the rain. I like it if it does not interfere with my hair or shoes.
