It was a rainy day here in Los Angeles so I decided to play with YouTube a little more. There are so many instructional videos for your instructional video on how to make a YouTube video. They tell you what to do, what not to do, what lighting to use, that you should stand on your head and play a tuba while blowing another bubble out of your ass, wear a donkey suit with a big clown nose down to what to say and what not to say. It is overwhelming to say the least so I just say what is on my mind and that has worked for me thus for. I changed the backdrop of this video but I am still playing with that. Hope you like stuffed dogs.
Yesterday, I wrote several guests post for a few different online dating and relationship sites. They like my funny dating advice and that what I say is real and to the point. So, I will take you through some online dating no no’s in this video where I also mention my nickname which I have had apparently since my childhood. My mom found a poster from when I ran for class president at a super exclusive (and uptight) private school that said, “Don’t commit a Felony – Vote for Melany!” So, I thought I earned Felony Melany in college but little did I remember that I was coined this much sooner in life.
In this video, “Felony Melany” offers a few humorous online dating tips. What to do and what not to do on your online dating profile. Even if you are married, in a relationship or complicated – trust me, nothing is forever, so listen carefully just in case. Also, some of these tips may even apply to your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or whatever other social mediums you are into. ENJOY!

A few things that always turned me off to women…
1)Them saying “Ummm” between every sentence.
2)Not looking me in the eyes when talking with me.
3)Calling themselves a “Chick”. Chicks are baby chickens. I’d prefer to date a woman/lady. Mind you, she doesn’t need to be a lady all the time. I prefer her to be honest, real and truthful.
4)Honestly, online dating will ALWAYS bring the creepers. People tend to lie about who they are, what they do, where they come from, what they look like.
Best place to meet a person to date? In the area of where you work, hang out the most often. And not a bar or nightclub!!!
I agree! Creepers creep online because they can. At least in the daylight you can sense the creeper mode first!

I don’t know. The only thing that we should still use from the 80’s is the music! Bring back the power ballad!
HA! I like the kitchen backdrop better… But I totally get the lighting. We own a professional lighting kit just for those purposes… but I still edit the HELL out of my videos and add FILTERS FILTERS FILTERS… Then again I’m an old woman or 79 and I look 13 in my videos – right?
Thinking of investing in the professional kit. Which one do you use?
