When I was contacted to write this sponsored post for Cars.com it was a no brainer for me to oblige! I love cars and always have. It is safe to say, I am obsessed with fast sports, cars without a lid – you know? Convertibles! I am from California and don’t think I could be more of the cliché California girl driving my speedy racing car, top down, rock music cranked and hair blowing in the wind any more than I already am. ROCK ON! The faster the car and the louder the music – the happier I am!

I remember this one test drive I went on with my father when we were looking at buying a new car and I will look back on that day fondly for the rest of my life. It helped that the person selling us the car used to race BMW M3’s in Germany. How do I know this? I know it because when my dad and I were looking at my prospective new car, he walked up and asked us “Who is first?” while strapping on his professional racing gloves to each hand and the look in his eyes told us he was not joking around. So, my dad and I both decided to hop in and I was “kinda” ready when he took a corkscrew turn at a speed that should not be driven by a regular driver. The car did not fishtail or anything of the sort! I glanced back at my dad in the back seat and he was laughing hysterically. This sealed the deal – and I had to have that BMW M3 convertible in Forrest Green with black leather interior. It was mine! I loved that car so much that it was a joke with all my friends because when I first got it I told everyone not to remove the little yellow paper protecting the seat belt from the leather seats in the back. This was of course, before I knew how important seat belts were. That car was my pride and joy and it ended up saving my life when I was in a horrible car accident. That car protected me and I miss it every day. Truly. People used to refer to me as the girl with long blond hair, long nails and the one who drove the M3 convertible. I still miss that car – it was my baby but it gave its life for me to live mine and I have a very special place in my heart for BMW M3s.

Of course, since then I have been car shopping a few times and it is always hard. I can never decide and they are so expensive. If you have not heard of cars.com let me introduce you. Cars.com takes the hassle out of buying a car and makes it virtually painless to end up behind your very own shiny new wheels. Thanks. I had read all of the Rules before I asked my question. All it says is purchased no later than 2012. My car was purchased used in 2013. I never saw the word “Used”. Anyway thanks for the reply.
