The Amazon Fire TV Show Off Your Photos: Just Ask Alexa and Giveaway

You can now view photos using the Prime Photos app and Alexa Voice Remote on your Amazon Fire TV. I ask Alexa to do a lot of things for me but this rocks. I always ask her nicely to complete my requests and she is a very helpful friend. Do you know what this means? No more huddling around a little phone screen to show friends and family your latest and greatest pictures because with Amazon Fire TV and the help of Alexa you can show these great shots on the biggest screen in your home. Sit back and relax in your living room, kick up your feet, pop some popcorn, and just ask Alexa to “show my photos” and the images will appear before your comfy little eyes. WOOHOO!

Amazon sent over this new Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote. I can’t wait to play with it more. I am so exited to use it because I spend countless hours searching through 50,000 photos every day for the right one to post. Now, I can sit on my couch and flip through the photos comfortably while watching on my biggest screen. Then, when I am somewhat done searching photos I can move to Netflix and watch my favorite shows. I guess you can say my calendar is now booked solid.

Amazon does so many things well and this is no exception. I am a proud Amazon Prime member and use it VERY often.  All United States Amazon customers receive 5 GB for photos, videos and files as well. So, I am never without a favorite image to post on my social media channels. Plus, I am always confident that my images are safe and secure while freeing up space on my devices. Download Prime Photos here and you can thank me later.

Now, with the Alexa Voice Remote and the Prime Photos app, Prime members can search people, places and things with easy to use phrases like “show me photos of dogs” which is my second favorite phrase and “show me photos of Teddy Brewski” which is my favorite request of all time. What would your request be for the Amazon Fire TV and Alexa Voice remote? Remember to say “Show my photos” and your choice to view.

This is a great addition to what you can already do with Prime Photos on your Amazon Fire TV. Check out more ways to use the Prime Photos Fire TV app here. Hint: you can even change your screensaver.

If that wasn’t enough, all Prime members get unlimited photo storage, as well as 5 GB digital storage for other files and videos. Now, you can relax on your living room couch and flip through your photos and personal videos on the biggest screen in your home using your Alexa Voice Remote. The Prime Photos Voice page has even more details for you.

Thank you Amazon for making my life easier, more efficient and a lot more comfy.

I am liking all the different ways to ask Alexa to see my pictures. Its amazing that you can ask to see something with such a vague description as “pics from last week”!!
