How to Give Your Love Life a Quick Boost

This is a lovely post just in time for Valentines Day! I am going to take some of these suggestions and use them. So should you! Thanks Laura for another great post.

Valentine’s day is just around the corner, so you might want to perk your love life up a little before it arrives. Whether you’re currently in a relationship or you’re as free as a bird, here are some tips to give your love life a quick boost:

Focus on Your Daily Habits

Your daily habits will have a lot to do with the state of your current relationship or singledom. You and your partner need to have habits that you enjoy each day to keep you together. Whether this is writing love notes to one another, or making sure you speak to at least 3 people per day to get yourself out there. Make sure you commit to doing these things and your life could change!

Appreciate Your Partner

If you’re in a relationship, you need to appreciate your partner. Both of you should find something you love about one another each day. Whether it’s the way they look after themselves, their smile, sense of humour…list things you appreciate about them each day. It’s important you choose to be with one another each day. Ask yourself: why do I choose my partner today and encourage them to do the same.

Take Care of Yourself

If you take care of yourself, your partner will follow suit. If you don’t have a partner, it won’t be long before you do. People want to be with people of high value. You can make yourself higher value by taking care of yourself. Focus on your hobbies. Learn about yourself. Study. Do things that will benefit you in the future. You’ll have a better outlook on life, and be a better person going into a relationship when you know how to take care of yourself!

GIVE YOUR LOVE LIFE A QUICK BOOST

Love Yourself

How can you expect somebody else to love you if you don’t love yourself? You can’t expect your partner to love you if you don’t love you either. The better you love yourself, the better your future relationships will be. You can learn to love yourself by taking care of yourself. Eat good food. Learn what you like and what you don’t like. Make time for yourself and your hobbies. Appreciate the things you have and don’t focus on the things you don’t have!

Work on Your Bad Habits

If you have bad habits, work on them. If you’re a smoker for example, you could work on quitting. If you’re a heavy drinker, cut down. This will benefit you whether you’re in a relationship or not.

Do Things to Meet New People

If you’re single, you need to set out to do things to meet new people. Whether that’s heading to your local coffee shop or doing a workshop, meeting new people is the key. Not just for a relationship, but to build new friendships and learn so much more about the world. The new connections you make could lead you to the love of your life. Just don’t rush things!

Exercise

Exercise is amazing. It’ll give you a rush of endorphins, making you happy and feel amazing. This is both straight after exercise and in the long run! It’ll make you look better too, attracting a partner or making your current partner look at you in a new light! Maybe you and your partner could get into it together. It’s easy to get complacent in relationships!

Try Feng Shui

Funnily enough, many people swear by feng shui to improve their relationships. They rearrange the furniture in their home, and low and behold, their relationships improve. It’s all about energy, and the energy most present in your home. At the very least, you’ll get a cool new lay out!

Try Out the Law of Attraction

The law of attraction is said to be a great way to attract a partner if you want a date for valentine’s day! Even if you aren’t looking for anything serious, the LOA could help you. All you have to do is make sure you’re grateful and happy in your daily life. Appreciate the small things. Make lists. Change negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Sooner or later, you’ll begin to really notice a change in your life. You could even make a list of the qualities you want in a partner, and then fold it up and put it out of the way. Some people like to make vision boards too, get some pictures of your dream rings and you can even find some free wedding invitations if their goal is to get married. If you make a conscious effort to alter your way of thinking, you could have somebody to love in less than a month!

Ready to improve your love life? Have fun!

Great post with a lot of good advice. It’s not easy as a single mom but I’m getting back out there and giving it my all. Projecting control and positive vibes is the only way to go. Great blog by the way!
